The public is invited to attend a meeting of the Carroll County Master Gardeners as they explore the benefits of organic gardening. A presentation on the subject will be made by Patrice Gros at 1:30 p.m., Sat., March 1 in the Pioneer Room of the Carroll Electric Cooperative Building in Berryville.
Gros will explain the orgainic, no-till, cultivation and fertilization methods he has used for 12 years. The information is valuable for anyone interested in growing flowers, vegetables, herbs, or who gardens commercially or privately. Gros runs Foundation Farm, a five-acre certified orgainic farm and its associated farming school north of Eureka Springs. His Web site is www.foundationfarm.com. |
