The Carper Family out of Austin, Texas will perform at Basin Spring Park, New Delhi Cafe and Chelsea's

There is a special treat at Jack's Place this weekend: The Barflies Blues Band will perform Friday and Saturday nights. Featuring two of Dallas's blues guitarists, Pete Barbeck of 7th Son and Jackie Don Loe of the Jackie Don Loe Band, the band will also feature local bass player Hugh Logsdon and Dallas's Papa Fly James Curtis on drums. Lynne Sterling, local songbird will also be on hand for this return Blues Extravaganza.

The Carper Family will be in town as well. If you want to hear the Austin-based all girl trio play old time country and bluegrass, they will be at New Delhi Saturday and Sunday, and Chelsea's on Wednesday.
