From neat flower-lined paths to the barren rock of an historic quarry, Eureka Springs offers a trail to satisfy every taste. The city's Parks and Recreation Commission maintains trails between many of the towns "postage stamp" parks, as well as several major trails at Lake Leatherwood Park...

One of the area's newest trails is at Holiday Island, which was created a few years ago with funding by the Holiday Island Theatre Guild. The trail is three to four feet wide in most places, with periodic maintenance performed by the road department of the Holiday Island Suburban Improvement District.
