Curtis Howard Fanning, a resident of Berryville, was born September 12, 1918 in Shady Grove Community, Berryville, Arkansas, a son of Arthur Logan and Anna Mae (Sharp) Fanning. He departed this life Friday, October 14, 2011 in Rogers, at 93. Curtis proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II and served as a B-26 Bomber Crew Chief for three and one-half years.
