Charles Wesley Cadwell, age 69, of Springdale, died Jan. 6 in a Fayetteville hospital. He was born May 3, 1937 in Elk Ranch, the son of Charles "Junior" and Kathleen Morrow Cadwell.

He was a Baptist. A retired truck driver, Cadwell served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his mother, Kathleen Hart of Springdale; two brothers, Robert and Timothy; one sister, Patricia; four nieces; and one nephew.

Graveside services were held Dec. 9 at Eureka Springs Cemetery with Rev. Timothy Garrison officiating. Burial was under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Springdale. Online condolences may be sent to <www.memfuneral.com>.
