A.J. Clark

A.J. Clark, 89, of Holiday Island, died Wednesday, Nov. 8 in Fayetteville. He was born Feb. 8, 1917 in Berryville.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjory Smith Clark, and two sisters, Kathryn Hill and Betty June Fair.

Survivors include three daughters, Kathryn and Joe Head of Eureka Springs; Claudia Wright of Malvern; and Connie and Bob Bragassa of Windsor, Colo.; eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and a sister, Nora Hasty of Springdale.

Clark served on the board of directors of The Bank of Eureka Springs and was a member of Faith Christian Family Church of Eureka Springs and the Community Church of Holiday Island.

A memorial service will be held at the Faith Christian Family Church, with his Grandson Rev. Patrick Norris officiating, on Wednesday, Nov. 22 at 3 p.m. Burial will be at the Berryville Cemetery under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home following the memorial service.
