Gladys P. Hanson, a resident of Holiday Island, formerly of Indiana, was born March 12, 1907 in Cambridge, Minn., a daughter of John and Helena (Olson) Lindgren. She died on Friday, March 16 in Eureka Springs at the age of 100.
Ms. Hanson was a homemaker and attended the Holiday Island Presbyterian Church. Her favorite hobby was sending cards to her friends for special occasions.
She is survived by one daughter, Grace and her husband Dan Wilson of Holiday Island; one granddaughter, Wendy and her husband Bill Lee of Bellevue, Neb.; two great-granddaughters, Nicole Koster of Washington, and Jamie Wood of Nebraska; two great great-grandsons, Brandon Smith and Joshua Smith of Nebraska; one grandson, Brian Wilson and wife Jennifer of Nebraska; three great-granddaughters, Della Wilson, Grace Wilson, and Emily Wilson of Nebraska; several nieces and nephews; and host of other family and friends.
On June 24, 1931, she married Arthur Hanson, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, one son, Glenn Hanson, and one sister, Emma Hoglund.
