ESSA student and faculty receptions set

 The Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA) will host a student artwork reception, Friday, July 20 at 4 p.m. at its campus on US62W. The reception will display art created in figure drawing classes taught by Eureka Springs artist Mary Springer.

  A number of ESSA instructors will exhibit their work on Tuesday, July 24 at 5:30 p.m. at the Carnegie Public Library meeting room at 194 Spring St. Featured artists will include: found-object sculptor Chris Fischer of Eureka Springs; watercolorist Selma Blackburn of Little Rock; jeweler and metalsmith Steve Stramel of Fayetteville; and flute maker Jim Pesek of Rogersville, Mo.
