Arthur Ellis Gadberry of Eureka Springs was born on May 3, 1918 in Shirley, a son of John C. and Clara Gray Gadberry. He died Wednesday, June 20, 2007 in Eureka Springs at the age of 89.

  He is survived by one brother, John Gadberry of Berryville; one nephew, Billy Joe Gadberry of Bixby, Oklahoma; one great-great niece, Patty Owens of Berryville; and a close family friend who thought of him as a father, Linda Curry of Berryville.

  He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Katherine Perkins Gadberry and seven brothers and sisters.

  Graveside services were held on June 22 at the Beulah Union Cemetery. Interment followed in the Beulah Union Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc. On-line condolences may be sent to the family at nelsonfuneral.com.
