The Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA) will host a Student Art Reception, Friday, July 27 at 4 p.m. at the school's US62W campus.
The reception will display student work created in recent classes taught by local found-object sculptor Chris Fischer; watercolorist Selma Blackburn of Little Rock; jeweler and metalsmith Steve Stramel of Fayetteville; and flute maker Jim Pesek of Rogersville, Mo.
Three ESSA instructors will display their art on Tuesday, July 31 at 5:30 p.m. at the Carnegie Public Library meeting room at 194 Spring St. Featured artists will include: bookmaking artist Dolph Smith of Ripley, Tenn.; jeweler and metalsmith Steve Stramel of Fayetteville; and stained glass artist Judd Mann of North Little Rock.
