Livingston Hollow & BE/NON

* On Saturday, Aug. 4, Livingston Hollow returns to Chelsea's from the depths of "no-drummer land" and "recording studio isolation."

Joining them will be one-time Eureka native Brodie Rush's band BE/NON from Kansas City.

In the ever-humble words of romantic rock star Jessie Anderson, "The greatest band in the world and the second best band in the world -- one night only!"

Inspiration Point

* The Inspiration Point Fine Arts Colony will host the 3rd annual Vocal Camp for junior high and high school students from Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, New York and Texas this week.

The students will present a Solo Recital in the Point's Pavilion on Thursday night at 8 p.m.

On Friday at 8 p.m., vocal students will present Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella in the Pavilion. On Saturday at 11 a.m., the students will present a traditional Choral Concert under the direction of Larry Baldwin of Lawton, Okla. and Lavonna Whitesell of Edmond, Okla.

Starlight Cinema

* The Lucky 13 Starlight Cinema will screen Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds, Sunday evening, Aug. 5, beginning at dusk. Gates open at 7 p.m.

Music will be performed by Emily Kaitz. The evening's entertainment will feature a Tippy Hedren and Alfred Hitchcock look-alike contest.

Sunday's Lucky 13 will be sponsored by the Lovely County Citizen.
