Turpentine Creek to host Wilson reception

  The Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge Gift Shop and Information Center will host an artist's reception for wildlife artist D. Arthur Wilson on Saturday, Sept. 8 from 6 to 9 p.m. at 2 Spring St.

  The public is invited to meet Wilson and discuss artwork inspired by his trip to Africa and his affiliation with wildlife conservation efforts worldwide.

  He will demonstrate his painting technique at 7 p.m. For details, call 253-5083.
