The group is made up of women and men of all ages, and their concerts can include jazz, gospel, pop, and even popular culture music from musical theater or movie soundtracks. Of course, they sing the classics, such as Handel's Messiah, and music by Brahms, Bach and beyond.
In November, check out the Ozarks Chorale on Sat., Nov. 17 for the ‘Sounds of the Season' concert, 7:30 p.m., at the Holiday Island Clubhouse, just north of Eureka Springs in the community of Holiday Island. For the ultimate in yuletide entertainment, grab tickets for the ‘Old Fashioned Christmas' concert on 7:30 p.m., Sat., Dec. 8 at the City Auditorium. Both are stellar performances by some of the best classical voices in the area, so treat yourself to a time-honored tradition and sing ‘Hallelujah!'
