Citizen of the Week
Dorothy "Dottie" Hill is the Citizen of the Week. According to her nominator, "Hill was recently awarded the Abendschone Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution's 'Community Service Award.' Dottie helps people 'one-on-one.' She is a mainstay of the Holiday Island Fire Department, where, under her leadership, the Auxiliary's White Elephant Sale earned $30,789. Holiday Island being named a 'Tree City USA' was the result of her hard work and organizational skills. She is a founding member of the Holiday Island Garden Club, a Friend of the Eureka Springs Carnegie Public Library, and she holds an active associate membership in The Holiday Island Community Church."
