11:18 a.m. -- An officer was unable to locate a white pickup reportedly pulling a person on a toboggan on the Historic Loop.

4:40 p.m. -- An investigating officer could find no basis for a report that two rifle shots were heard near Hwy. 23S.
7:20 p.m. -- A man walked into the police station and complained he was assaulted by his former girlfriend near the elementary school.
7:27 p.m. -- A woman calling from a S. Main St. bar complained she couldn't locate her car, but remembered where she'd left it before an officer arrived.
8:59 p.m. -- An alert carriage driver reported a minor traffic accident in front of Basin Spring Park.
9:41 p.m. -- A US62E restaurant operator requested help in ejecting an unwanted patron but the matter was resolved before authorities arrived.
10:07 p.m. -- A motorist flagged down an officer and told him about a close encounter with a deer on Passion Play Rd.

12:10 a.m. -- Following a complaint from a US62W motel operator, two officers suggested that loud guests either keep it down or call it a night.
12:39 a.m. -- Four officers arrested one brawler at a S. Main St. nightclub.
12:54 a.m. -- Two officers were unable to locate three possibly tipsy pedestrians reportedly toddling around near the junction of US62E and Hwy. 23S.
1:12 a.m. -- A false alarm screaming blue blazes at a US62W motel drew the attention of the fire department and three officers.
11:55 a.m. -- Two detectives investigated a possible suicide at a Spring St. residence.
3:40 p.m. -- A caller from a Pivot Rock Rd. residence told police his play station might have been stolen.
8:53 p.m. -- Two officers and a detective reported "a group of men kicked in the door to a residence and beat up subjects and stole items" from a Pivot Rock Rd. residence.
10:11 p.m. -- Two officers could find no basis for a caller's report of gunshots heard on Hwy. 23S.
