Monday, February 25, 2008

The area west of Eureka Springs has a lot to offer for visitors, and March is a great time to enjoy those pleasures.

This is a very beautiful area, and the views are enhanced because the leaves haven't returned to the trees yet.

Lake Leatherwood has a variety of hiking and biking trails to meet the abilities of a wide range of hikers and bikers.

There are stables in the area, with some unforgettable rides and packages.

Beaver Lake has some great fishing opportunities, including trout fishing below Beaaver Dam.

At this time of year, you can still spot majestic eagles who have not yet begun their migration back to their summer homes up north.

Don't miss the view of the White River Valley from Inspiration Point. It didn't earn that name by accident!

Aside from all the joys of nature, Eureka Springs West also has some wonderful shopping opportunities, including artists' studios and antique shops.

You'll love this area so much that you will want to stay, and you'll have your choice of cabins, cottages, and other lodging that will make you want to extend your stay.

Eureka Springs West is a special state of mind, and an indispensable part of your Ozark visit.
