9:57 a.m. -- The animal control officer was unable to locate a "stray, Terrier-type dog" reportedly roaming around Mill Hollow Rd.
1:47 p.m. -- Police were asked to investigate a person apparently dumping trash behind a US62E fast-food franchise and discovered an employee of a nearby bank dumping leaves on bank property.
5:26 p.m. -- A Mountain St. resident complained about a dog barking on nearby Owen St.

12:15 a.m. -- Three officers executed an arrest after being summoned to a family disturbance in the middle of Mountain St.
3:09 p.m. -- A drunk reportedly staggering around the parking lot of a US62W shop vanished before an officer arrived.
Sunday, March 2
2:03 a.m. -- A motorist was arrested for driving with a suspended driver's license during a traffic stop on US62E.
3:37 a.m. -- After a caller complained about a vehicle which was causing a traffic hazard by being illegally parked on Prospect Ave., an officer had it towed away.
12:50 p.m. -- Police asked the owner of a parked car blocking a Pine St. driveway to park somewhere else.
8:44 p.m. -- Police were unable to substantiate a report that two people were walking through traffic down the middle of US62E.
10:15 p.m. -- Police responded to a phone call from a downtown hotel that five men "may have been smoking something illegal" near the public restrooms at Pendergrass Corner and arrested one of them for possession of a controlled substance.
10:25 p.m. -- An Echols St. resident told police her ex-husband may be stalking her.
