Leola Billings, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born Oct. 22, 1907 in the Rockhouse community, a daughter of John Benton and Mary Pearl (Hall) Southerland. She died Friday, Feb. 22 in Eureka Springs at the age of 100.
Mrs. Billings was a member of the Eureka Springs Freewill Baptist Church. She loved quilting, going to the senior center and visiting with all of her friends.
She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie Lee and husband James F. Kelley of Berryville; one son, Bill Billings of Eureka Springs; one step-daughter, Verna Yahn of Desota, Wisc.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren; and several other nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
In November, 1940, she married Ira Arthur Billings, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents; six sisters; five brothers; two step-daughters; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 29 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel with Rev. Alvin Reynolds officiating. Interment followed in the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service.

Minnie E. Hilton, 94, of Oakridge, Ore., died Jan. 24, in Oakridge. She was born Jan. 28, 1913 in Beaver to Claude and Jessie Pyatt Hague.
She married Jess Hilton on Aug. 8, 1931 in Beaver. He died April 15, 1964.
Survivors include her children, Bobby Hilton of Eugene, Ore., Jack Hilton and Randi Hilton, both of Lebanon, Ore., Herb Hilton, Faye Garris and Barbara Hill of Oakridge, Ore.; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Jessie Claudine, died in 1992.
Funeral services were held on Jan. 28 at the Church of the Nazarene in Oakridge, Ore. Burial was at the Forestvale Memorial Park in Oakridge.
Donald L. Robinson, 78, of Eureka Springs, formerly of Quincy, Ill., died Feb. 12 in Arkansas. Born on Dec. 29, 1929 in Pittsfield, Ill. to Amos and Helen Robinson, he married Arlis Lange on June 2, 1951 in Quincy. She died in March 2002. Patricia Hobin, whom he married on Dec. 24, 2004 survives him.
Robinson retired to Eureka Springs in 1978. He developed Bayshores Estates and Pointe West Resort.
He is survived by his wife Patricia; a sister, Eileen Syrcle; four daughters, Audree Palmquist and her husband Timothy of Minneapolis, Minn., Lori Wilson and her husband Wade of Raleigh, N.C., Rebecca Pieper of Eureka Springs, and Traci Robinson of Tulsa, Okla.; five grandchildren, Timothy Wilson, Sara McPherson, Melissa Wilson, Abby Pieper and Jordan Pieper; two great-grandchildren, Bailee Wilson and Aidan McPherson; and many stepchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Robinson was laid to rest on Feb. 16 in Quincy, Ill. A memorial service will be held in Eureka Springs at a later date.
Robert J. Reynerson, 86 of Springdale, formerly of Eureka Springs, died March 2 at The Maples.
He was born July 17, 1921 in Stamps to Alva George Russell and Evva Cook Reynerson. He was a WWII veteran of the Army Air Corps.
He was past president of the Eureka Springs School Board and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1980. He was also an accomplished trombone player as well as an avid model railroader. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Springdale.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Polly Joyce Edie Reynerson, in 2007.
He is survived by one son, Jeff Reynerson and wife Lori of Springdale; and two grandsons, Neal Reynerson of Fayetteville and Russell Reynerson of Springdale.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, March 4 at Eureka Springs Cemetery.
