Troy Anderson "Andy" Gray, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born March 2, 1949 in Newport, a son of Dr. Troy Ancel and Helen (Wade) Gray. He died on Monday, March 10 in Fayetteville at the age of 59.
Gray enjoyed fishing, scuba diving, motorcycle riding and running, but most of all he enjoyed his family and Razorback Football.
On Sept. 23, 1972, he married Linda Sue (Taylor) Gray, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by his mother, Helen Gray of Newport; two daughters, Robin Marlene and husband Raul Urgelles of Miami, Fla. and Amy Suzanne and husband Jon Robitschek of Honolulu, Hawaii; one brother Dr. David Kemp Gray and wife Christina of Springdale; one grandchild, Taylor Christopher Urgelles of Miami, Fla.; one nephew, Travis Gray and one niece, Kelsey Gray both of Fayetteville; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 12 at Nelson's Chapel of the Springs in Eureka Springs. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, March 13 at First United Methodist Church in Eureka Springs with Rev. Stan Adams officiating. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. in Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc.
