  1:17 p.m. -- A van driver removed a mail box and a phone box at a Jay Ln. residence so he would not run over them with the van and promised to replace them.

  2:45 p.m. -- A vehicle was damaged in a hit-and-run accident on Main St.

  8:06 p.m. -- A woman called from a Mountain St. residence and told police her boyfriend was beating her but when an officer arrived no one was home.

Wednesday, March 19

  2:08 a.m. -- An officer went to a Historic Loop residence to investigate a complaint about kids drinking at a loud party and discovered the bash crashed before he arrived.

  7:30 a.m. -- A motorist pumped gas worth $51.11 at a Passion Play Rd. station and left without paying for it.

Thursday, March 20

  8:27 p.m. -- An abandoned 911 call was traced to kids playing with a pay phone at a US62W convenience store.

Friday, March 21

  12:49 a.m. -- Police reported two women fighting at a downtown bar.

Saturday, March 22

  12:05 a.m. -- A traffic stop on East Mountain resulted in two alcohol-related arrests.

  4:34 p.m. -- No one was injured when three vehicles collided on US62E.

  4:42 p.m. -- Two officers intervened in a husband-and-wife yelling match at an East Mountain residence.

Sunday, March 23

  12:29 a.m. -- A person threatening to commit suicide at a Pivot Rock Rd. residence was transported by police to a hospital in Berryville.

  1:52 a.m. -- Two juveniles hanging out at a closed US62W convenience store were taken home.

  2:15 a.m. -- Two men were cited for drinking in public near a downtown hotel.

  2:37 a.m. -- A vehicle illegally parked near the intersection of Center St. and German Alley was towed.

  2:37 p.m. -- A guest trashed a room at a US62E motel.

  5:45 p.m. -- A caller from a Singleton St. residence complained about someone dumping trash in a park.

  6:25 p.m. -- A woman reportedly stuck in the turnstile of a US62E observation tower was able to extricate her body from the gate's steel jaws.
