Citizen of the Week

  Chris "Shorty" Abbot is this week's COW. According to his nominator, "I was floating the Kings River last week with my boys when we capsized at Trigger Gap. The water was churning and boiling pretty hard when a stiff breeze hit us and the current flipped our canoe over. By God's good graces, Shorty and a couple of others were on a gravel bar when I called for help. Shorty came running. As I was going under, Shorty grabbed by arm and pulled me out. In short, no pun intended, Shorty saved my life." All in a day's work for a Kings River COW.
