8:35 a.m. -- No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident involving a trash truck on Singleton St.
11:34 a.m. -- An officer was unable to intercept a red sports car westbound on US62 which reportedly passed several cars and almost caused an accident.
12:21 p.m. -- A German shepherd without a collar or tags was taken into custody while sniffing around a US62E family center and transported to doggie jail.
3:48 p.m. -- A school bus driver would not let a child off the bus and took him back to school after it was discovered the bus was being followed by the child's father who is prohibited from being with the boy by a no-contact order.
4:31 p.m. -- After a warning from sheriff's personnel that people in a silver van suspected of stealing merchandise from Wal-Mart were headed for Eureka Springs, an officer stopped a vehicle matching the suspect's description and arrested a motorist for driving on a suspended license.

5:20 p.m. -- Despite a call from a Spring St. shop, police could find no basis for a report of a fight in progress at a business located in a US62E mall.
6 p.m. -- Hate-filled, homophobic religious fanatics repeatedly parked a billboard-bedecked truck illegally on private property on N. Main St. against the property owner's and neighbors' wishes and police gave them the bums' rush.
6:55 p.m. -- Following a call from an Emporia St. resident, operators of an annoyingly noisy mini-bike parked the vehicle for the night.
7:46 p.m. -- A person was arrested after police were invited to view two intoxicated women "throwing glass" in the parking lot of a US62E motel.
7:47 p.m. -- Unknown subjects threw eggs at a US62E motel then scrambled away before the law arrived.
7:55 p.m. -- A Hilton St. resident complained about a dog barking in a parked car for an hour near the intersection of Mountain and Center Sts.
