Monday, April 21

  7:45 a.m. -- A possible fight at the high school was "settled without violence."

  1:47 p.m. -- A minor, personal-property accident occurred at a US62W motel.

  4:35 p.m. -- An abandoned 911 call was traced to a US62E business where all was found to be "OK."

  4:40 p.m. -- An officer responded to a report of a landlord-tenant dispute at a N. Main St. residence but found no cause for official intervention.

Thursday, April 24

  1:39 p.m. -- Police responded to a report of trespassers at a US62W business.

Friday, April 25

  12:44 a.m. -- It was an open and shut case when an officer was summoned to a US62W motel to close the door of a casually parked vehicle.

  2:02 a.m. -- An employee of a downtown hotel reported hearing "loud voices coming from a parking lot on Main St."

  4:16 a.m. -- The operator of a Passion Play Rd. gas station asked police to remove a "large snapping turtle" hunkered down near one of the pumps and the responding officer escorted the beast "into the woods."

  8:18 a.m. -- A US62E motel operator told police dogs were running in the roadway.

  12:44 p.m. -- An officer was asked to report to the high school superintendent's office.

Saturday, April 26

  3:55 p.m. -- Police were unable to locate a suspicious man loitering in the vending machine room of a US62W motel.

  3:20 p.m. -- A traffic stop on S. Main St. resulted in the arrest of a motorist who was driving on a suspended license.

  10 p.m. -- A license plate was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the lot atop Planer Hill.

Sunday, April 27

  12:42 a.m. -- The mother of an opportunistic boy who snagged 36¢ out of the Basin Spring Park fountain was asked to retrieve her child.

  2:13 a.m. -- Following a neighbor's complaint, police asked partyers on College St. to "quiet down."

  2:31 a.m. -- Revelers partying hardy at a US62E motel disappeared after another guest told police he wanted to get some sleep.

  2:49 p.m. -- Someone used an Ozark credit card to siphon diesel fuel out of a truck parked behind a US62E fast-food franchise.

  9 p.m. -- The manager of a Passion Play Rd. convenience store complained about a customer who was inconveniencing employees.
