Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial celebration service for Gilbert "Gib" Klarr at the First Presbyterian Church of Eureka Springs on Saturday. May 17, at 11 a.m.

  Klarr passed away at his home on Beaver Lake on April 4.

  Rev. Clare Kelley will conduct the service. Rev. David Duncan of Austin, Texas, a family friend and former interim pastor, will also participate.

  Following the service, an informal reception for his wife of 52 years, Carol Lybarger Klarr, and their family will be held at the Grassy Knob Fire Department Community Center on Hwy. 187 from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m.

  The family requests memorials to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, ECHO or Eureka Springs Hospice Program.
