Big-eyed girls take on the glamour-pusses at Abrya Studio

Abrya Studio is bracing for a collision of portrait styles this Saturday. Studio owner and artist Jerri Stevens will run damage control as Kathryn Semolic's fresh and bold Girls of Wonder enter the stare down of the century with Stevens' alluring and elegant high fashion babes.

  Stevens and Semolic operate independent fine art studios in Eureka Springs. Both work in acrylic and have an engaging graphic design sensibility. That is the end of the similarities.

  Abrya Studio is located in the funky and fabulous Art Colony at 185 N. Main St (next to Cafe Santa Fe). The Art Colony opens at 11 a.m. The artist reception at Abrya Studio is from 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, May 24. Hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
