You've probably never heard of Little Jack Melody and his Young Turks, but don't let that stop you from coming out to enjoy a fantastic (and FREE!) evening on Friday, July 18, when you're invited to Dance in the Park After Dark.

Basin Spring Park will overflow with people from 8-10 p.m. Whether you sit and listen or get up and dance, you'll have a ball.

Their music is funky, jazzy, fun, a mix of different styles. They use whatever works for a particular song, and they don't seem to worry about being confined to a particular genre.

Get ready for layers of music, assembled in ways you didn't expect. Was that a tuba? 

The lyrics are thoughtful and fun, and the rich vocals are as accomplished as you'll find anywhere.
