See the exciting stars of tomorrow at Opera in the Ozarks.

Whether you're a diva devotee, or your entire opera knowledge comes from a Bugs Bunny cartoon, there's a performance perfect for your taste at Opera in the Ozarks, located just ten miles west of Eureka Springs on US 62W at Inspiration Point Fine Arts Colony. In this breathtaking hilltop setting, the young artists at Opera in the Ozarks pull out all the stops each night in a comfortable, airy amphitheater, where the evening breeze cools the audience and carries the haunting notes of an aria for miles.

Each summer, Opera in the Ozarks attracts the top young talents in the field of musical theater in a program that combines the creativity of summer stock productions with an intense educational experience, covering all angles of the art and business. The artists receive instruction in performance, wardrobe, set design, and even how to manage their careers and take care of their voices. These talents will be the operatic stars of tomorrow, so see them now while you can.

The 2008 season offers productions of Puccini's La Bohème, Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte, and Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado. The schedule traditionally includes a mixture of tragedy and comedy, and all the selections this year are fan favorites and very accessible.

Don't worry about the language barrier, either. A digital display above the stage provides a translation.

The shows rotate through the week, from June 20-July 18. Curtain time for each opera is 8 p.m.; admission is $20 for the first four rows, or $15 for rows further back. Opera in the Ozarks is located just ten minutes west of Eureka Springs on US 62, at Inspiration Point. For more info and tickets, call (479) 253-8595, or visit www.opera.org.
