The Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA) will host a slide show at the Carnegie Public Library meeting room on Tuesday, July 8 at 5:30 p.m. Fiber artist Ruth Walker of Columbia, Mo. will be the featured artist and will display her art.
ESSA still has openings available in the following summer workshops for adults:
* Session 7: Spindle Spinning with Eleanor Lux; Wood-Raku-Pit-Fired and Wheel Throwing and Handbuilding with Laura Waters and Jim Wallace; and Metalsmithing/Chainmaking with Steve Stramel.
* Session 8: Portrait Painting with Wendi La Fey; Loom Weaving with Carrie Marry; and PMC with Steve Stramel.
* Session 9: Glass Beadmaking with Doug Powell; and Ceramic Effigies with Terry Russell.
