The family lived in Guthrie and Oklahoma City during Bob's early childhood, then settled in Clinton, Okla. where he graduated high school. He was class president, captain of the football team and president of the Methodist Youth Union all through his high school years. He attended Oklahoma University, majoring in Electrical Engineering.
Bob pursued a very successful career in sales, winning many awards and even a trip to Europe. He was also very successful in the oil business, retiring at age 62.
In 1996, he relocated to Eureka Springs to be near his two daughters, Darienne Duncan and Angie Taylor, both of Eureka Springs, who survive him. He is also survived by two grandsons, Devin Duncan and Dillon Jackson of Eureka Springs.
Bob always appreciated the friendly assistance he received at his bank and Hart's and was very happy he made the decision to move here.
Funeral services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Clinton, Okla.
