The Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA) will host its second student reception of Youth Art Week on Saturday, July 19 at 4 p.m. at the school's campus at 15751 US62W.
The reception will display student art work created in classes taught by Jamie Tait, From Stencil to Screen; David Rush, Painting the Cosmos; and Mary Springer, Working with Metal-Beatin', Slashin' and Bendin'.
On Tuesday, July 22, ESSA will host an instructor slide show at the Carnegie Public Library Meeting Room at 194 Spring St. at 5:30 p.m. Featured will be the works of watercolorist Richard Stephens of Hot Springs, fiber artist Eleanor Lux of Eureka Springs and metalsmith Steve Stramel of Fayetteville.

Eureka Springs School of the Arts will offer a 4-harness weaving class, July 28 through Aug. 1. This class is being designed for students with little or no weaving experience but is open to more advanced students wanting to work on personal projects with an experienced instructor at their side.
