Art Buzz ~ ESSA to host student art reception

The Eureka Springs School of the Arts will hold a student art reception on Friday, July 25 at the school's campus at 15751 Highway 62 West.

The reception will display student work created in classes taught in session seven by watercolorist Richard Stephens of Hot Springs, fiber artist Eleanor Lux of Eureka Springs and metalsmith Steve Stramel of Fayetteville.

Three ESSA instructors will display their art on Tuesday, July 29 at 5:30 p.m. at the Carnegie Public Library Meeting Room at 194 Spring St. Featured artists will be Doug Stowe of Eureka Springs, "Wooden Box Making," Laura Waters of Eureka Springs, "Wood-Raku-Pit-Fired and Wheel Throwing and Hand Building," and Steve Stramel of Fayetteville, "Precious Metal Clay."
