TRIGGER GAP -- The body of a man was found early Thursday afternoon downstream from the former low water bridge at the Trigger Gap swimming area on the Kings River.

The Carroll County Sheriffs Department responded to a 911 call, and the Carroll County Special Operations Rescue Team (SORT) was summoned.

According to the Sheriffs Department, the body was found in three feet of water wedged between two boulders.

The rescue team recovered the body.

A truck belonging to the victim was found parked nearby.

Sheriff Bob Grudek said there was no sign of trauma on the body and the cause of death will not be announced until a report is received from the Medical Examiner's office in Little Rock.

Grudek said the name of the victim is being withheld at the request of the victim's family.
