The Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA) will host a student art reception on Friday, Aug. 1 at 4 p.m. at the school's campus at 15751 Hwy. 62 West. The reception will display student work created in classes taught in Session Eight by ceramic artist Laura Waters of Eureka Springs, box maker Doug Stowe of Eureka Springs, and metalsmith Steve Stramel of Fayetteville.

Five ESSA instructors will display their art on Tuesday, August 5 at 5:30 p.m. at the Carnegie Public Library meeting room at 194 Spring Street. Featured artists will include: pewtersmith Bill Derrevere of Tulsa, Oklahoma, found object artist Chris Fischer of Eureka Springs, photographers Susan Storch and John Rankine of Eureka Springs, and ceramic artist Terry Russell of Eureka Springs.
