The Good Shepherd Humane Society will host a "Paw-Pourri Picnic" fundraiser, Sunday, Aug. 10 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Van Pelt Stadium.

The Picnic will feature "Water Fun" all afternoon and attendees should dress to get wet and stay wet. Photographs of pets and their owners may be arranged throughout the event. Face painting, a kissing booth and micro-chip implantation will also be offered.

The Picnic will offer a variety of events for pets and their owners. They will include:

* 1:30 p.m. -- Owner/Dog Look-A-Like Contest;

2 to 4 p.m. -- Air-Brush Tattoos;

2 p.m. -- Surprises with the Magical TinMan;

2:30 p.m. -- Ugliest Dog Contest;

3 p.m. -- Best Dressed Dog Contest;

3:30 p.m. -- Best Trick Contest;

4 p.m. -- Wiener Dog Races (Hosted by Mr. Oscar Pryor Wiener);

4:30 p.m. -- Big Dog Race; and

4:45 p.m. -- Leetle Dog Race.
