Pete Pierce, a resident of Holiday Island, was born June 9, 1942 in Oakland, Calif., a son of Charles Milton and Pearl (Cobo) Pierce. He died on Monday, July 28 in Rogers at the age of 66.
Mr. Pierce was a retired truck driver. He was also a member of the Holiday Island Elks Lodge #1042.
On Aug. 25, 1972, he married Sandy Pierce, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by two sons, Richard Pierce of Sandy, Ore. and Robert Booth and wife Alicia of Weston, Fla.; three daughters, Sky and husband Allen Key of Milton-Freewater, Ore., Laury Smith of Castro Valley, Calif. and Cherri Booth of Livermore, Calif.; nine grandchildren, Christine, Jered, Ashley, R.J., Ally, Drew, Bridget, Brady and Kaylor; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Richard Pierce and wife Joan of Oakland, Calif.; and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services were held on July 31 at the Holiday Island Community Church with Allen Thrasher officiating.
