Over the last nine years, Heidi touched the lives of local middle school students as a dedicated English Literature teacher in both the Carroll and Benton county school districts. She enjoyed reading, traveling, good wine and spending time with her husband, daughter, family and friends.
Heidi had a deep appreciation of music and art and drew inspiration from fall colors and the changing of seasons, especially so in her writing and poetry. Heidi died on Friday, Aug. 15.
She is survived by her husband of five years, Donovan, and two-year-old daughter, Avery Alice of Fayetteville; brothers Bret Bottomley of Cape Coral, Fla. and Brandon Bottomley of Evans, Ga.; maternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. William Penn of Eureka Springs; and paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Everett Cox of Evansville, Ind.
