Citizen of the Week

Wednesday, September 10, 2008

"We were visting your city this past weekend, enjoying all its wonderful sights. When we got ready to head back to our hotel, low and behold our vehicle wouldn't start. Many people stopped to help us, but Fred Halper went above and beyond. After several failed attempts at jumping the van, he went back to his shop to get a new battery. It wasn't the battery, but he kept on until it started. He even offered to meet us the next morning to make sure we would be able to get home. Thank you, Fred, for all of your help -- you truly are a wonderful person!" And a first-rate COW.

Fred is a great guy and Eureka is lucky to have him.
