Mary Miriam Wilson, a resident of Bastrop County, Texas, died Oct. 14. She was born on July 31, 1959.

Mary was a flautist and loved music and cooking. She worked for Meals on Wheels in Bastrop County, Texas. She served meals, checked on the elderly and provided information to people in need.

Recently, Mary had fallen on rough times, but, when she was able, as recently as three weeks ago, she was providing home healthcare, even though she was disabled herself.

Mary is survived by her former husband, Scott Wilson; a daughter, Rachel Mong and her husband and their three children of Minnesota; a son, Timothy Allen Wilson; her twin sister, Mattie Landrum and her husband, Roger Johnson, of Eureka Springs; and many other family members who will not forget her.

Mary was in ill health and her family hopes that when you pass someone on the street, you look at them and say "Hello in there. Hello."

Donations may be made to the American Heart Assoc. or the homeless shelter of your choice, remembering, "There but for the grace of God, go I."
