Citizen of the Week

The nominator for this week's COW writes eloquently, "Bruce Bieschke has been working with the scouting program in Eureka Springs since 1987 and has been Scoutmaster since 1994. Through Bruce's guidance, many boys in Eureka have learned outdoor and leadership skills and at least 11 boys have attained the coveted Eagle Scout rank. A major accomplishment of Bruce's is the annual Scouts Food Drive that he spearheads for the purpose of teaching the boyscouts and girlscouts about helping others and community involvement, and also to give a tremendous boost through the winter months to the food pantry and those who depend on it. Bruce very quietly makes a huge impact on our community. God bless him."
