Citizen of the Week

According to this week's COW nominator, "Karen Lindblad (pictured) and Jacqueline Froelich are the organizers of Eureka's popular annual Women's Party. This event has been happening in December for more than two decades, and is a great time for local women of all ages to get together to dress up, get down and dance the night away. Everybody brings homemade treats and BYOB. While Karen sets up the location and calls the women with the skinny on details, Jackie gets the music together. They ask only a small donation to cover costs. Hats, feathers and frills off to these great women who keep a happy Eureka tradition alive."
