How simple can this get - if you don't like the Citizen, don't read it.

Chip, I can only speak for myself, but I do not think either of us were talking about the photographic aspect of this newspaper. Keep on doing what you're doing, maybe some of it will rub off on the boss!!!

Wow...that was extremely saddening to read those two responses. I can only speak for myself and the work I produce... I tend to see myself as unbiased. I cover city wide events from PDA diversity meetings to National Prayer Day. I strive to cover, phototography wise, a large pool of things in our gorgeous county that will appeal to locals and tourists alike. So before people pool all employees of a company as being biased liberal hippies (not that any of them are), please take a look at my photo galleries. By all means if you are aware of an event or something special that you think deserves to be photographed, please email me at finkford@gmail.com and I ensure you I will photograph it through my unbiased telephoto lens. No offense is intended towards anyone for any reason what-so-ever, its just after reading so many biased comments about The Citizen, I felt a response was desperately needed..^

Well-said, Nephilim Child!!! You would think with newspapers in the U.S. teetering on the brink of extinction (and many for having an extreme bias which has alienated a huge part of their readership base), that the publisher of this newspaper could rise above his narrow, rigid point of view and make this paper fair-minded and more professional, which is what it should have been all along. He's entitled to his point of view, but please, do not even make any pretense whatsoever that this newspaper is unbiased. It's funny--in a sad way--how so many of his ilk preach and expect "tolerance" but are loathe to show it to those with points of view different than their own. Just a reminder..........the opposite of tolerance is tyranny. One suspects after reading the Citizen that this papers' publisher might, if you'll pardon the expression, "subscribe" to just such a narrow, one-sided tyrannical point of view. I have said it before and will continue to say that everyone in this city, state and country ought to see the disastrous results of petty, divisive, "thinking of ones self only" attitudes. It almost brought Eureka Springs to a standstill and certainly slowed meaningful progess in this town at a time when it is sorely needed. If you have to validate your existence by shoving a one-sided bias down your reader's throats, all I can say is "Get A Life!"

I WISH THE CITIZEN WOULD BECOME A FAIR, OBJECTIVE NEWSPAPER AND STOP BEING; A BIASED, ONE SIDED, ROOTING RAG. WHERE ARE THE CUTE COMICS ABOUT DEMOCRATIC GOVERNOR BLAGOJEVICH? WHY HASN'T A BIG JOKE ABOUT CAROLINE KENNEDY'S, SEVERE LACK OF CEREBRAL MATTER BEEN MADE HERE? OH YEAH, SHE'S A DEMOCRAT TOO AND A KENNEDY. THAT WOULD BE HERESY. THIS WOULD BE A GREAT TIME TO MAKE A RESOLUTION, TO BECOME PROFESSIONAL JOURNALISTS AND STOP BEING HATERS.
