Colton Jeffrey Carr, 17, of Paragould, died on Sunday as a result of an accident.
Colton was a senior at Marmaduke High School, where he was President of the Future Farmers of America and a member of the livestock show team. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed all outdoors activities including hunting, fishing and working on his truck.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Launa Burkheart, R. C. Weber, Ben Carr and John and Viola Jackson and his friend, Kyle Huckabay.
Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Shala Carr of the home; brother Colin Carr of the home; paternal grandparents Wayne and Shalia Carr of Eureka Springs; maternal grandparents Donna Jackson of Marmaduke and Randy and Debbie Jackson of McDougal; great-grandparents Ruby Weber of Rector, Norma Carr of Paragould, Donald "Pete" and Janet Burkheart of Paragould; and aunts and uncles Kristi and Darrel Thompson and Shannon and Chadisty Jackson.
Funeral services were held Dec. 31 at the Marmaduke High School gymnasium with Revs. Kim Bridges, David Poe, Tracy Archibald, Kevin Hawley and Bill Muse officiating. Burial followed in New Friendship Cemetery.
