Citizens of the Week

Kim and Jan Ridenour have been at the forefront of filling needs in our community for years. They spearheaded relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina victims as well as efforts for several other disasters near and far. Seizing the day, they opened Focker's Discount Grocery at a time when rising food prices were hitting us hard. Their free community bulletin board, Geekfest, is packed with local information, and they add sections to fill community needs, such as "Self Sustainable Living," "Ride Share," "Pet Adoptions" and others.
