Opera Guild to host Templeton, March 22

Carolyn-Anne Templeton will perform a vocal music program at the Opera Guild's annual membership meeting on Sunday, March 22 at 3 p.m. in the conservatory of the Crescent Hotel

Templeton is a senior at Depauw University, pursuing degrees in vocal performance and political science. She has been a performer at Opera in the Ozarks for the past two summers and has appeared in numerous Depauw opera productions. She has participated in and received awards from the Great Lakes NATS competition, Interlochen Arts Academy and has studied in Vienna, Austria. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Templeton of Eureka Springs.

The meeting is open to the public. The Guild offers a variety of volunteer opportunities, and sign-up sheets for various support duties will be available at the meeting, including ushering at performances, office duties, distribution of posters and rack cards and transporting singers and staff to and from the airport.

Members also enjoy a free opening night gala and performance.

Other membership advantages include free tickets to the opening night performance of Manon by Massenet at the Arend Arts Center in Bentonville on June 27.

Opening night will be June 19 and will feature two one-act operas, I Pagliacci and Hansel & Gretel.
