Citizen of the Week

Linda Reno investigates animal cruelty for Carroll County -- without a paycheck, as her COW nominator pointed out. She also helped found Radar's Rescue, which helps find foster homes for those animals in its care. As her nominator said, "She works for Tyson at night and drives carriages on the weekend. This lady never sleeps because when she should be sleeping she is serving our county and helping those who have no voice to ask for help." In a weary world where too many of us are driven by the almighty buck, it's heartening to know one person who's above that. Thanks, Linda.
