The Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA) will honor the work of the students of Carol Peacock, Judy-Lee Carpenter, and Susy Siegele and Michael Haley at a student reception at their campus at 15751 US62W on Friday, June 5 at 4 p.m.
Friends and family of students and the public are invited to attend.
Session Two of ESSA's summer workshops will begin on Monday, June 8 with Advanced Jewelry Techniques, taught by Judy-Lee Carpenter.
On Tuesday, June 9, at 4 p.m. at the campus, Carpenter will present a slide presentation of her work. On Friday, June 12, students will display their creations at a student art reception at 4 p.m. on the ESSA campus.
Openings are still available in Kathryn Semolic's Polymer Clay class and Jan Hawks' Sculptured Threads workshop in Session Three, which will begin June 15.
Marlene Gremillion will be teaching Beginning Watercolor and Portraits in Watercolor in Session Three.
Scholarships are available for adults in the disciplines of wood and metal. Youth scholarships are also available. In addition, ESSA continues to offer a 25-percent discount to all students who register a friend by June 15.
