Louise Elizabeth Butler, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born Feb. 7, 1934 in St. Vincent, a daughter of Martin Miller and Marie Elizabeth (Erman) Miller. She died on June 27 in Tulsa, Okla. at the age of 75.
Louise was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church. She volunteered her time working for Meals on Wheels, Relay for Life (Race for the Cure), helping with school functions and bowling in Cassville, Mo.
On Aug. 9, 1951, she married Walter A. Butler. She is also survived by her children, Beth and Bill Terrill of Tulsa, Okla.; Mike and Sheila Butler of Eureka Springs; Daphne and Darrell Anderson of Eureka Springs; Chris Butler of Eureka Springs; one sister, Romana and husband Dwight Jones of North Little Rock; four brothers, Martin and wife Rosemary Miller of North Little Rock; Raymond and wife Dorothy Miller of North Little Rock; Johnny and wife Betty of North Little Rock; Charles and Mary Miller of Rison; eight grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 2 at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Eureka Springs with Father Shaun Wesley officiating. Interment will follow at the Eureka Springs Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc. Memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 901 N.
