The Eureka Springs School of the Arts (ESSA) will end its summer workshops with a Student Studio stroll on Thursday, Aug. 6 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. at its campus at 15751 US62W.
The public is welcome to view art created by students and enjoy refreshments. Workshops participating in the Studio Stroll include blacksmithing taught by Jim Wallace of Memphis, Tenn., bookmaking with Dolph Smith, fabric collage with Suzanne Sanders-Tourtelot and wooden plate turning with Kip Powers.
On Tuesday, Aug. 4, at 4 p.m., a public slide show presentation of the instructors' work will be shown at the ESSA campus.
Openings are available in several fall classes, including Julie Kahn Valentine's life drawing class, Judy-Lee Carpenter's basic jewelry techniques and Richard Stephens' beginning watercolor workshop.
