She was one of the founding members of the Highfill Fire Department and was recently employed by Wal-Mart DC 6001 in Rogers. She was a 1975 graduate of Rogers High School where she was a member of the Mounties Drill Team.
Renita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed camping, fishing, making jewelry, cooking and gardening.
Survivors include her husband Duane Curby, Jr. of the home; her mother, Margaret Della Rosa Munea; children, Heather Holland and Jeffrey Parks, LewAnne and Charles Lindley, Gary and Jennifer Holland, and Gene Holland; step-children Jerad Curby, Carey Beaman, Tracy Knight, Troy Curby, and Misty Whittaker; sisters, Regina and Rick Sims, Teresa and Bobby McKenzie, Mary Curren; brothers, John and Christine Finn, Mike Finn; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Floyd Finn; a sister Renita Anne Finn; and a brother Tim Finn.
A memorial service was held Aug. 7 at the Chapel of Callison-Lough Funeral Home, officiated by David Matthews.
Memorials, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the American Cancer Society.
