Eureka Thyme to host Mika-Benton reception

The Eureka Springs area photography of Laura Mika-Benton will be featured in a show and reception at Eureka Thyme on Saturday, Sept. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m.

"These photographs are used to illustrate her book, The Tree of Life, whose story is both simple and complex, using rhythm, repetition and that old literary favorite, metaphor, to portray the concept of oneness," said Paula Lauer of Dundee, Ill.
